Do you have a special home video that you don’t really watch due to all the shaky camera work and those long boring sections that you just seem to forward through? Let Reflection Media edit it for you.

This service is available if you have the original DV tape from your camcorder or video footage on VHS tape.

Simply send us the DV or VHS tape and let us do the rest. We will edit it using a using a state of the art movie suite used by many of the big name producers and accompany it with backing music of your choice (to be agreed upon before sending).
What’s included:
1. A DVD of your home movie
2. DVD Menu to suit your movie (with scene selection where appropriate)
3. A DVD with a title and screen shot from your film printed on the disc
We can also add to the DVD a stylish slide show of your photographs from the same event if you send them to us on a CD as jpeg files.
If you require this service please contact us with your requirements. We will then reply to you with a price (see our guide below for details), and ask you for more information, such as the title of the film and dates which we might require. You can then post your DV/VHS tape us for editing. When we have finished editing your movie we will return your DVD and original DV/VHS tape in the post.
We recommend that you post your DV/VHS tape by Royal Mail Special Delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for your tapes until we have received them. We will also post your items back to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is included in the cost.
Please remember we cannot improve the quality of your filming, and the footage is only as good as the original.

Home Movie Editing Price Guide
Our general price guide is that we charge £1.50 per minute for every minute of footage which you require editing from your mini DV/VHS tape. (Minimum charge of £50). So if you have 40 minutes of mini DV footage this would cost £60.
As a general rule of thumb for every minute of footage on your mini DV tape you will end up with 45 seconds on your edited DVD so 45 minutes of mini DV original footage will make approximately 30 minute DVD edited film. For most films 30 minutes of edited footage is the maximum that is entertaining to watch, usually 20 to 30 minutes is a good film length.
Payment to be made by cheque made payable to Sonia Mangham and sent with your DV or VHS tape.
To add your photographs as a slideshow to the DVD menu will cost an extra £15.
